The First Game Pass Titles of 2026 Reveal Xbox Remains Committed.

In numerous discussions, commentators persist in tolling the funeral bells for Microsoft's gaming division. Microsoft's console just got outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Xbox fan sites have started writing regarding Sony's platform unprecedentedly. 2025 was an era of significant turmoil for Xbox and Microsoft. However, judging purely by what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it is apparent that Xbox continues to plan to attract subscribers with strong games on its flagship service.

The Current Inclusions

A pair of titles currently accessible at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's worth getting excited about.

Significant Forthcoming Releases

Come mid-January, Game Pass will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that breaks up typical Ubisoft design with a space-faring criminal escapade. Another big get is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "a superb mixture of terror and combat."

Noteworthy Smaller Games

However, the more modest titles coming to Game Pass soon are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that is incredibly fun, becomes available next week — and it merits a playthrough regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

The British post-apocalyptic game from last year could captivate you within just a quarter of an hour.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by Rebellion Developments, is another one to watch. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.

A Solid, Curated Lineup

All in all, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, nor are they first-party juggernauts that validate the subscription by themselves. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. It offers a healthy blend of past releases that passed you by and relatively recent releases that didn't get the attention they deserved the first time around — rendering them ideal prospects to find a new audience on Game Pass.

Be prepared to bid farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
